Reflecting on our Ethereal Engagement Photoshoot

A year ago yesterday on April 30th, we celebrated our engagement party that I will remember forever. I wore a form-fitting long sage green dress and my husband and brother created a beautiful balloon wall perfectly in theme with our wedding party colors: pink, green, and gold. It’s unbelievable that time has flown by so fast. As I am sitting here writing this, I still have some boxes scattered on my living room floor of exchanges and returns from my bridal shower, which was in July. We were so blessed with so many gifts that almost a year later we are still working on sorting them out. One can say it‘s stressful, but in a way it’s nice to do things in time, and it feels fresh to not be completely settled in our home yet. We still have so many things to look forward to: getting more furniture, inviting people over who have not seen our home yet, figuring things out like cooking. This cannot happen overnight. We are still basking in being newlyweds and it’s lovely.
