Why TF do people like Taylor Swift and Blake Lively? Like as a Greek woman..okay as a half-Greek woman.. I don’t get the hype at all. Leighton Meester, the Georgina character, Taylor Momsen- all 10x more interesting. Blake Lively is a pretentious mean girl IRL anyway and Taylor Swift is teaching young girls the absolute wrong way to get over or to get even with an ex. Like it’s just common sense to not sing about being hung up on every single man you dated IRL.. duhh. 🙄 Her strategy is not empowering- it’s so lame and juvenile. The fact that she’s held to such an extremely high regard for whatever reason is just irritating to me. Same with Travis Kelce. I don’t get it at all. He gives dense “frat bro” vibes. Whatever, maybe I’ll like the next album 🤷🏻‍♀️ I actually was digging the Bad Blood era. I don’t like her soft pop country-esq music.

Why does every trendy new spot have to go out of its way to provide the most uncomfortable seating for its customers? And to make sure it looks as sterile and unfashionable as possible? If I ever owned my own coffee shop I could never. Couches, velour, color… that’s how it should be. These companies aren’t being minimalist.. they are being CHEAP. My engineering hubby likes the aesthetic so I must just be old fashioned. Some of us like to sit and blog not grab our shit and scat as if we’re working a corporate job. Where do people go in their free time? I never see anyone I know at the mall on the weekend. Yes malls have gone way downhill for whatever the reason in general but there is literally nothing else to do where I’m from besides going out to dinner. Do people actually sit at home and watch sports all weekend? Ick! [I found my soulmate cause my hubby couldn’t care less about watching sports on TV and he likes to go out as much as me. Although his watch window shopping is a bit much]

Why does Donald Trump and his cronies think constantly intentionally mispronouncing Kamala Harris’ name and questioning her ownership of her own heritage will aide in him winning the 2024 election? That’s like someone perpetually calling me Katrina. And like me being on a Greek cooking show and not bothering to address that I’m half Anglo Saxon. Like why TF would I have the need to interject that, it would be totally irrelevant to the program and everyone would know I’m half American, anyway. It’s literally so ignorant and pathetic- and downright disingenuous for people to say her name wrong and claim that she didn’t previously acknowledge that she’s black when she went to Howard University of all places. It’s also not really anyone’s business and shouldn’t be the main line of attack of a future president… just saying. Most candidates focus on criticizing the policies- not names and appearances- of their opponents. It’s “just plain weird” as Tim Walz would say.

Does rose water actually taste good to some people? I think it’s disgusting. 🤢 Like I would love to be able to order a rose latte with those pretty petals but I could never. ❌🌹

Why is buccal fat removal even in celeb’s vocabulary? Full cheeks make you look younger. Enough said. Amanda Seyfried better NEVER. Also, those who overuse Ozempic to look rail thin just look older. A healthy natural weight exudes youth and beauty.

The Nestle Tollhouse original chocolate chip cookie recipe just makes underwhelming small, thin, crunchy cookies. I prefer them larger and thick, so they can be soft in the middle and crispy on the edges. If you want gross crunchy cookies just buy them ready made at the store.. Since Yours, Truly has become quite the cookie connoisseur, I can say I am highly disappointed that recipe is even advertised to the public. 👩‍🍳

How are all celebrities divorced like immediately but Gordon Ramsay has been married to the same woman for decades and has like 6 kids with her including a baby,   while he is at like 1,000 places at once? He must be really good. 😏 I mean a really good chef. [Joking aside I actually love Gordon Ramsay. My summer literally consisted of binge watching Kitchen Nightmares and Hotel Hell while baking cookies and brownies. Trying to currently redeem myself.]

Why are people in America such workaholics? Like take a vacation, eat some cake, drink some wine, eat some pasta, and take a chill pill. I’m singling out those who are actually successful, toxic AF who could definitely get away for a little bit and gain some lessons in becoming more cultured but choose not to. As a Greek woman- bizarre and disappointing.

People who use LinkedIn as an actual social media.. psychotic and cringe AF. Literally only in America 🙄

People who will randomly confide in you about absolutely hating something [like a job or a bf] and will go back after leaving. Some people’s decisions have me questioning if I’m living in an alternate universe, I swear. So weird. If I leave something that hasn’t worked for me, you best believe I am NEVER going back. It’s giving fake, inauthentic vibes. Or someone who is just highly conflicted and doesn’t know what they want in life. Can’t relate. 🤷🏻‍♀️

People with perpetual bad etiquette. Like walking off wedding receptions as the meal is being served, not giving a gift, RSVP’ing and not showing up. It’s giving low-class, narcissistic vibes. [BTW only Americans do this.] Of course I am not talking about anyone I know. I don’t associate myself with these types. 🙂 Then you will overhear the person saying anyone else who does this exact thing to them is an “arrogant asshole”…hence the narcissism.

People who voice they don’t want you to leave…then force you to leave…then sabotage you for trying to leave…and stalk the shit out of you…sounds like a very personal problem of someone who is not supposed to be happily married…right? [Hi! 🙋🏻‍♀️]

I prefer more of a spitfire personality in my actresses. Sue me, I’m technically the youngest millennial.

How I just owed $9 for a box of chocolates valued at $16 while paying with a $25 gift card… girl math? I swear the gift card envelope was sealed shut. Whatever, I’m on my period so could be delulu. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Chocolate was good anyway 🍫
